In today’s market a great product with an average brand will be outsold by an average product with a great brand.
The vast majority of businesses have competition and that is probably increasing by the day because most products or services can be replicated, and at worse, bettered.
Your brand is a business tool, and it should deliver a tangible benefit to your business. To give you an indication, a stock-market report said that 51% of the value of Coca-Cola is it’s brand. For McDonalds that figure was 70%.
Many businesses still think their brand is their logo (it’s not). They don’t recognise that it is (or should be) an essential tool in their business development strategy. And they don’t appreciate the value it can add to their business.
