Senior Web Project Manager

A great opportunity has now arisen for a Project Consultant / Senior Project Manager to join our team.

The Project Manager will be working as part of a highly skilled team consisting of Business Analysts, Designers and Developers. You will be involved in the full aspects of Project Management of a global web project including overall project planning and co-ordination of delivery teams.

You will need 5+ years experience project managing the development of complex, high traffic websites or web applications. You should have extensive experience delivering large technical projects and working closely with a cross functional technical team. This is a client facing role so you will need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will also be managing the programme of work and ensuring that requirements are delivered on time and to agreed SLAs.

Your duties will include:

  • Working with the client and commercial teams in order to scope, plan and cost project deliverables
  • Defining project approach and methodology for the project, and planning resource requirements, costs and delivery
  • Providing line management for the team
  • Acting as the single point of contact for the client and project management team
  • Being financially responsible for successful delivery, including all project and account P&L

To be considered for this position, we'd like to see a minimum of 5 Project Management years experience, of working on software implementation / web projects / ecommerce sites in excess of £500,000 budget, ability to lead both creative and technical teams, the ability to manage client relationships. A professional approach and ability to work in a dynamic and complex programme environment, is also essential. We will require the following technical skills: User Centred Design, Agile, SEO, Digital Marketing and experience of Sharepoint and Video technology will be useful.

Any experience of green industries would be a bonus.

This is a fantastic role for a Senior Website Manager or experienced Technical Programme Manager.
